If a car tire popped right next to me when I was filling it up with air, could I go deaf?
Say hypothetically, I wasn’t paying attention to how big the tire was getting and it exploded. Would the sound be loud enough to say, pop an eardrum or cause you to go deaf? The reason I ask is because I over-inflated a bicycle tire and the tube stretched out and popped and I could not hear anything for several minutes, and ever since then I have been a little apprehensive to inflate a car tire to the max P.S.I.
It could certainly do some damage but not likely enough to make you permanently deaf.
Fill the tires to the correct amount on the door jam not the max amount.
